So far I think it will work out although I have had to run a tap through all the 5/16 x 18 bolt holes on the manifold - no biggie there but I did have to drill and tap one of the holes completely. I went with the chepo manifold and save a few bucks because I just want to sell this 65 Ford Falcon 4 Door Wagon. I can't tell yet how thick the flanges are to see the difference yet. So I decided to just get new bolts if what I have will not work right rather then mess with cleaning all 12 bolts. I did pull 1 bolt from the funnel web and it is longer then what I have but it's not real clean - it looked like it was only holding on the bottom 3/8 of the threads. I have some new bolts that have 2 1/8" long reach - from the bottom of the head to the end of the bolt - not real sure if they will be long enough - will have to see. When I get the manifold down and lined up I'll put the other bolts in then pull the longer studs and replace them with the same bolt I'm using for the rest of the holes.

I'd heard about it quite awhile back and it seemed to be a good Idea. I made 4 longer studs from longer bolts just to use as guides while setting the manifold back on. 1980 - 1986 Bullnose F100, F150 & Larger F-Series Trucks - 82 302 intake manifold - when i bought my 82 it came with a crapton of extra parts, inculding an. It works and hits Hi revs but it is a PITA for driving around where I live. This Ford Performance M-9424-F302 Dual Plane Intake Manifold is for use with 8.206 deck height block and inline valve heads. Since it rev's so tight so quickly I suspect there might be some sort of non stock Cam in it - but no Idea and it Idles OK. The High Rise Intake Manifold that I am taking off is a Parker Funnel Web Hi RPM. You can now put the same intake manifold on your Mustang that comes equipped from the factory on a 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302.
